One thing that stood out to me was how Nathan said that Americans tend to be so friendly with how they talk but they don't actually follow through with their actions. She mentioned how Americans will say one thing to somebody's face, like "I'll catch you later" or "I'll give you a call." Most of the time though, that never happens. Once I thought about it, it is actually kind of sad that we Americans are known for doing this. Our friendliness should not just be an exterior appearance, but an interior one as well.
